How it works: A Step-by-Step Guide

All photographers are different and each have their own unique way of scheduling their family photo sessions. If you choose me to be your family photographer in Las Vegas NV, I want to share with you my easy and convenient step-by-step process of scheduling and creating a photo shoot personal to you.

Booking Your Session

Before You Book — Let’s chat! A quick initial message or phone call is the best way to get an idea of when you would like to schedule your family photos. We go over any pre-booking questions about the process and discuss location options.

From there I will email you a booking link that includes your client portal. You’ll found these documents inside:

Our Session Agreement is a convenient online contract that details my studio policies, fees, and other info. It also includes a model release form.

Your Session Retainer is a non-refundable fee that officially confirms your scheduled date.
I make it easy to pay online via credit/debit card or check.

Once these items are checked off get excited because you are officially booked! Now comes the fun part.

Before Your Session

I’m so excited to get to know your family!

I’ll be emailing a questionnaire, which I love to do because it allows me to get to know each family member’s unique personality and get a quick summary of your family’s dynamic.

The Pre-Session Consultation before your session is the perfect time spam me with the inspo shots that sing to your heart! I love to see what styles my clients are into and which poses are a “must have”. We can discuss your goals, wardrobe and review options for products.

A Session Reminder Email or text is sent two to three days before your session is a confirmation of the date, time, and the meet location of your session. I also provide a few tips and reminders to help your session go smoothly.

The Session

Finally! So much is invested into having the perfect family photo session and the big day is finally here! I’ll initially get everyone comfortable with a few poses and shutter clicks, and then we let the session unfold. I love giving prompts through-out your photo session to keep family members talking and having genuine interactions with each other. We may even play a game or 2! I want you to forget there’s a camera there and just focus on having fun and laughing with the people you love the most. I hope you leave your family photo session all smiles and just a little more connected to each other than ever before.
