When should I book my newborn photos, and when should my newborn session take place?

Approximately 3 weeks after our session, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorite images to purchase.

If desired, I’ll also guide you to choose a collection of heirloom-quality artwork to help you treasure your pregnancy for years to come.

The key with a newborn session is for everyone, including your baby, to feel comfortable.

Consider selecting clothing in neutral colors and cozy textures!

Ideally, if you’re interested in capturing the early newborn days, you’ll want to plan your newborn sessions for the first 14 days of your child’s life. By that time, everyone has had a chance to settle in and get used to one another.

To me, it’s never too late to schedule newborn photos, even if your child is 1-2 months old! Lifestyle sessions don’t place a time limit on newborn or infant photos.
